Lacet House is situated in the heart of Ambleside, within the scenic Lake District National Park. The town is surrounded by mountains and rolling fells, with the head of Windermere Lake less than 1 mile away.
The rooms at the property each feature a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities, along with private or en suite bathroom facilities. Many boast impressive views of the countryside. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
In the morning, guests can select from a full English breakfast or a lighter option from the extensive pre-ordered menu. Diets can be catered for upon request. The dining room is light and airy with stunning views of the fells.
Lacet House offers free guest passes for the local spa, gym and leisure centre. The passes allow 2 guests use of the facilities for up to 2 hours. The leisure centre features a fully equipped gym, two saunas, hot tub and 15-metre heated swimming pool. Guests are welcome to use the passes more than once during their stay and can also participate in fitness classes, subject to availability.
Ambleside offers numerous pubs, restaurants, and shops, within a 5-minute stroll of the house. The Ambleside Walk begins from the town centre and includes a trail around the Stock Ghyll Force Waterfalls. Lacet House also offers free private parking.
