Located in the street that gives its name and placed perpendicularly to the chapel of the Lord of the Steps, was built in 1658, against the north elevation of the house of the house of the Misericordia.
Church of a single nave, rectangular plant covered by vaulted crib. The main chapel has 18th - century tiles, triumphal arch, gilded carving. Painting eighteenth century with ceiling to emphasize angels as instruments of martyrdom.

Gilded carving altarpiece, baroque period, national coat of arms, national weapons, oil painted canvas, "Visitation". On the same altar the image of the Dead Lord. In the north wall a door of access to the Church of Senhor dos Passos. This space of connection between the two churches is quite complex. The Chapel of Mr. dos Passos and the Church of Misericórdia are linked together and are part of the Museum of Sacred Art and Archeology of the Holy House of Mercy of Vila Alva.
