Located 1790 metres above sea level in Kaltenbach, Berggasthof Platzlalm is situated on ski slopes in the Ski Optimal Hochzillertal Ski Region. A sauna and large relaxation area with reclining deckchairs are available at the hotel.
All rooms have under-floor heating, a seating area and a flat-screen satellite TV. A private bathroom is also included. High ceilings, solid wood furniture, wood floors and wall paneling are characteristic features of the rooms.
Berggasthof Platzlalm’s restaurant, bar and dining area are all rustically furnished. A large tiled stove, wood-burning fireplace and flat-screen TV are also featured. The huge terrace provides lots of seating area and panoramic views of the surrounding Alpine landscape. Guests can relax in one of the terrace’s hammocks or large bean bags.

A paragliding centre is 3 km away. Kaltenbach village centre is 12 km away. In winter the hotel can only be reached with skis. Innsbruck is 35 km away.
