Located within Snowdonia National Park, the Ty'r Adar at Graig Wen offers self-catering accommodation near Barmouth and the traditional market town of Dolgellau. The property is ideal for exploring the stunning Mawddach Estuary, the mountains, and the beaches of Snowdnonia.
Set within the massive stone walls of a traditional Welsh slate cutting shed built in 1868, the spacious apartment offers free WiFi access and a woodburning stove. The cosy open-plan lounge offers a sofa bed, books, games, and a TV with a DVD player.
The two-bedroom Ty'r Adar at Graig Wen also features a kitchen with an oven and a microwave. There is a patio outside. Each bedroom offers a super king-size bed, which can be split to form twins and there is a private bathroom with a bath and an overhead shower.
Guests can walk through the small campsite and across woods and fields, to directly access the Mawddach Trail. This runs along the waterside from Dolgellau to Barmouth. There are beaches 5 minutes' drive away, Cadair Idris mountain range just behind the house and Coed y Brenin Mountain Bike Centre is within 15 minutes' drive. Guests can hire bikes onsite to explore the Mawddach Trail.
